In September 2010 ten members of Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust visited Kambia to provide training for Community Health Officers, Maternal and Child Health Aides and voluntary nursing aides. This was the second visit as part of the International Health Link Funding Scheme (IHLFS) in association with the British Council and The Tropical Health and Education Trust (THET).
