Make your donation go further……
- Q. What is Gift Aid?
- A. Gift Aid is tax relief on money donated to UK charities.
- Q. What does it mean?
- A. You can increase the value of your support to The Kambia Appeal, at no cost to yourself, by allowing us to claim the tax back on your donations.
- Q. How do I do it?
- A. If you are a UK taxpayer, simply ‘Gift Aid’ your donations and increase your support of The Kambia Appeal’s life saving work. For every £10 given, The Kambia Appeal can claim back an extra £2.50. In addition, the government adds an extra 3p per pound, making your £10 gift worth £12.80 to us. All you need to do is make sure you tick the box on our donate forms when you make your gift.
- Q. Do I qualify?
- A. To qualify for Gift Aid you must pay an amount of income tax or capital gains tax equal to the tax we reclaim on your donations, currently 28p for every £1 you give. Please let us know if your tax status changes.
